Designed to "aid coastal managers and land-use planners in exploring watershed characteristics, species information, and recovery issues; identifying and planning habitat restoration projects; and supporting large-scale, long-term planning and management functions." Includes geographic information system (GIS) data customized to planning salmonid recovery and habitat restoration in San Mateo and Santa Cruz counties. GIS data categorized thematically as: Base layers; Climate and weather; Ecosystem management; Environmental quality; Hydrology; Infrastructure; Jurisdictional areas; Land use, cover, and vegetation; Physical geography; Salmonid distribution and habitat; Socioeconomics; Watershed assessments; and, Wildlife. |
