| Biographical note | John Rose Taylor was born on September 15, 1889 in La Grange, N.C. and died on November 30, 1974. He lived most of his life in New Bern, N.C. In New Bern he was a prominent member of the community, serving in several civic organizations, such as the Christian Church of New Bern. He is perhaps most well known for his work with the Mutual Life Insurance Company, where he worked for over 35 years. |
