Biographical note | Edwin Nils Johnson served as a United States Naval Reserve (USNR) officer during World War II and the Korea War (1940-1969). Johnson served with the 7th Fleet Amphibious Force, Beach Party #5, and participated in the invasion on Cebu Island, made other military landings in the Pacific, and returned upon retirement (May 10, 1969). |
