Chiefly publications related to the Vietnam War. Publications include The American Traveler newspaper for August-November 1968, which feature articles concerning the personnel, campaigns, and activities of the 1st Infantry Division, U.S. Army, and a September 1968 issue of the magazine Danger Forward, which deals with the Communist "TET" Offensive of 1968 and the conduct of operations during its course. Also included in this collection are Viet Cong propaganda leaflets found at Fire Support Base Washington, ten miles from the Cambodian Border, where the 25th Infantry Division was located. There is also a photograph of the aftermath of a battle in the same area. |
