Commonwealth of Massachusetts. To the selectmen of the town of [blank] : Whereas by the tenth article of the sixth chapter of the Constitution ... for the commonwealth of Massachusetts, it is provided, that ... the General Court ... shall issue precepts to the selectmen ... directing them to convene the qualified voters ... for the purpose of collecting their sentiments on the necessity or expediency of revising the Constitution ... Given under our hands and seal, at Boston, the sixteenth day of February ... one thousand seven hundred and ninety-five.
