General note | Subsequent issues for 1794-96 are entitled: A pocket almanack ... to which is annexed, The Massachusetts register. |
General note | Entered by Evans under the publishers, Thomas and John Fleet, who are named in the 1789, 1791, and 1794-96 issues as editors of the register. |
General note | The almanac was apparently calculated by Nathanael Low. The eclipse predictions on p. [2] are a version of those in his An astronomical diary or almanack for 1793, also published by Fleet. The calculations on the calendar pages are chiefly identical, but in part vary by one minute. The weather predictions on these pages generally correspond in the two almanacs. |
General note | Advertised in the Boston gazette, Nov. 12, 1792, as Fleet's register. |
General note | "Fleets Massachusetts register for 1793."--143, [1] p. |
