Newport, October 27, 1783 : By the Brig --, Captain Coffin, arrived last evening, in 40 days from London, the printer has received papers to the 9th of Sept. from which he has extracted the following very important intelligence, viz. London, September 9. Copy of a letter received by the Lord Mayor yesterday morning, at half past nine.
