Abstract The anticybersquatting legislation requested that the Department of Commerce consider and recommend guidelines and procedures regarding the use of personal names in Internet domain names used by others, malicious use of domain names to harm reputations, practices to deceive consumers, etc. This report is in response to those requests. Includes support from the Patent and Trademark Office.
