| Abstract | "This text covers the materials of multiple current programs in a short space because these programs include huge duplications that we have avoided here. They also unnecessarily over-elaborate on some materials, which are actually just examples, exercises, or applications of a given topic, another issue avoided in this text. No chapter is divided into biology, chemistry, and physics. We define and motivate the importance of a topic or problem. Then we address it, both qualitatively and quantitatively, starting from the basic principles followed by a series of applications. I also mentioned various terminologies of the same quantity to accommodate readers with a fixed background from many current sciences and engineering disciplines. Finally, the book contains analytical problems, as well as computational problems, that include MATLAB software and Mathematica software developed especially for the classes associated with this book. The computational exercises focus on numerical modeling, imaging, and statistics. In some chapters, especially in the last five chapters, essays on topics of considerable broad interest and debate are discussed at the end of these chapters based on the background developed in this book.
