| Abstract | "This book will give a new perspective to readers by reporting the performance characteristics of inverters with filters of a higher order. Of course, it is necessary to operate such high-order systems with sophisticated control strategy and design considerations. The trend of miniaturizing the inverters is on-going and, in particular, due to recent advancement of high-power switching devices, the size of the switching network can be reduced. The physical size of the output filter becomes the key consideration in reducing the size of inverters.
