| Abstract | "The book explores how the effects of climate change and the demands of climate justice can be studied within and across the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. It draws on the experience of a three-year interdisciplinary working group on decarbonization, climate resilience, and climate justice. A rapidly changing climate, its variety of effects, and the need to prioritize climate justice across disciplinary silos are all reflected in the book, which offers insights into some of the major debates in each discipline. Discussing both the experiences of the working group and institutional changes that could accommodate more interdisciplinary working groups, the insights of the different disciplines that were engaged in the network display a variety of complementary perspectives. Each chapter will explore a different discipline, their key debates, as well as a reflection by the author on how climate justice is being incorporated in their work and how it could be centered even further in the future."-- Provided by publisher. |
