| Abstract | Marking Whiteness is a scholarly volume that interrogates the unmarked dominance of Whiteness in Anglophobe Modernism and Modernist Studies. The editors and contributors aim to expose how Whiteness has shaped modernist aesthetics, cultural production, and institutional structures, while remaining largely invisible or unexamined. The book responds to two guiding questions: How can interrogating Whiteness transform Modernist Studies? What might inclusive methodologies, pedagogies, and institutional forms look like in this transformation? |
