| Abstract | Muchos movimientos revolucionarios del siglo XXI, como Occupy Wall Street y #MeTooMx, tienen raíces en los zapatistas, un movimiento de derechos indígenas del sur de México. El desacuerdo y la autocrítica son el núcleo de su perspectiva intelectual. Escrituras sin rostro estudia la revuelta zapatista y las recientes olas del feminismo a través de su producción política y literaria entre 1993 y 2020. Al leer un corpus extenso de textos híbridos que incluyen declaraciones políticas, lemas y manifiestos escritos por zapatistas y grupos feministas, este libro desafía la noción de hegemonía y representación. Este monográfico reflexiona sobre la colectividad y la resistencia centrándose en la autoría del Subcomandante Marcos y la obra de la autora experimental Cristina Rivera Garza. Escrituras sin rostro, dividido en cinco partes—“Escrituras sin rostro”, “Hoy decimos ¡Basta!”, “¡Somos la dignidad rebelde”; “De ‘Todos somos Marcos’ a ‘MeTooMx’”, “Escrituras castradas”—, muestra la evolución del disenso y cómo los movimientos sociales informan y dan forma a la literatura. Los zapatistas han demostrado que no hay reivindicación política sin escritura, y que sin humildad no hay dignidad rebelde. Su legado es esencial para salir de cualquier forma de hegemonía. |
| Abstract | "Many twenty-first-century revolutionary movements, such as Occupy Wall Street and #MeTooMx, have roots in the Zapatistas, an indigenous rights movement from southern Mexico. Disagreement and self-criticism are the core of their intellectual perspective. Escrituras sin rosotro: El antagonismo como estrategia subversiva del zapatismo examines the concept of antagonism in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries by reading a large corpus of hybrid texts that includes political statements, slogans, and manifestos written by Zapatistas and feminist Mexican writers. This book challenges the notion of hegemony and representation. It reflects on collectivity and resistance by focusing on the notion of authorship. Divided into five parts - "Faceless Writing", "Enough is Enough!", "Rebellious Dignity"; "From We are all Marcos to MeTooMx", "Castrated Writing" - this study shows the evolution of dissent and how social movements inform and shape literature. Zapatistas showed that there is no political demand without writing, and without humility there is no rebellious dignity.
