Abstract "Rubber structures are widely used in oil and gas equipment. The working behavior and mechanical characteristics of rubber structures directly affect the safety and reliability of the mechanical structure. In this book, rubber structures in drilling machinery, oil production equipment, storage and transportation equipment are introduced. The experimental method and constitutive model of rubber are explained. Numerical modeling methods are given. Stress, sealing characteristics and working performance of those rubber structures are studied. Mechanisms of fatigue failure, wear failure and thermal failure are also studied. Meanwhile, some new bionic structures have been applied to the design of rubber structures"-- Provided by publisher.
