| Abstract | "This book delves into several topics related to photosynthesis. It is the diversity of topics that makes this book special. The authors have also included the latest developments in the field. The book contains chapters from diverse areas such as a broad and inclusive definition of the "photosynthesis" including latest trends in the field i.e. artificial photosynthesis in Chapter One. The diversity of topics serves to generate inquisitiveness in the reader e.g. there are three chapters on stress (drought, light and nitric oxide) that will guide a UG/PG student into reading about more stresses e.g. salt, pesticides, heat, oxidant, toxic gases etc. and compare the molecular mechanisms of them. Furthermore, we have included chapters on the effect of various modifiers of CHL biosynthesis, nanomaterials, omics and senescence and the use of technology to enhance photosynthesis.
