| Summary | The problem for this study was to determine the machinability of folding cartons stored for an exended length of time in a warehouse environment. Specific objectives of the study follow: 1. To determine the effects of time and storage environment on the carton opening force on printed, solid bleached sulfate (SBS) folding cartons; 2. to determine the differences, if any, of the carton opening force of cartons stored in a warehouse and cartons stored in a "controlled" environment; 3. to observe the differences, if any, of folding cartons run on automatic cartoning equipment after cartons have been stored for a specified time period. |
