Abstract Artist's book presenting the story of Rudolph Brazda who, when he died in 2011, was the last known survivor of the Nazi concentration camps who had been incarcerated because he was a homosexual. Forced to wear a pink triangle, Brazda survived three years in Buchenwald. After his liberation, Brazda lived in Alsace until his death. Morin weaves Brazda's story with the German folktale of The White Maiden.

General noteSewn binding of heavy brown handmade paper; print of Buchenwald concentration camp stamped in dark brown on cover page 1 (same image stamped in white on recto of all leaves of text); backstrip covered in pink paper printed with colored stamps of Czechoslovakia. Issued in lidded aluminum box lined with pink paper, half printed with colored images of Czech stamps; pink silk ribbon secured to floor of box to enable user to easily lift the book from the box; embossed numbers on box lid.
