H. 817 is a pasticcio, with movements from a cantata by Gottfried August Homilius, and from Bach's own Magnificat (Wq 215), with newly composed recitatives and two chorale movements. BR-CPEB F 14 is an arrangement of a cantata by Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, Lasset uns ablegen die Werke der Finsternis, BR-WFB F 1 (Fk 80). BR-CPEB F 16 is a pasticcio with music by C.P.E. Bach and Homilius. BR-CPEB F 15 is a pasticcio with music by Homilius (this work is in the appendix, since it cannot be reconstructed with any certainty)--See pages xvi-xix. |
