| General note | Numbers 2 and 11 were written as postludes, the others as preludes and offertories. Some of the shorter selections should be played twice, perhaps with a change of registration. Most of the organ hymns are in cantus firmus style and require a solo stop for the hymn tune. The registration suggested here can easily be varied to suit the resources of different organs. |
