Abstract |
A biography of Amy Fay (1844-1928), a performer, educator, lecturer, writer, and clubwoman who helped shape the budding culture of the US at the turn of the century. After studying with Franz Liszt she returned to the US and quickly became renowned as a musical activist. Later in life she was a champion of women's rights and advancement. |
