| Abstract | Dr. Sheil's primary teaching responsibilities have been in the voice studio and in the field of choral conducting. Because of his long-standing interest in foreign language dictions, he was assigned, early in his career at Fredonia, the task of developing a diction course specifically oriented for the singer. The manual is the result of many years of accumulating rules governing the pronunciation of singer's languages. |
