She was also brand strategist and image consultant for several companies, including Clinique, Maybelline New York, IMAN Cosmetics, L'Oreal USA, Bumble & Bumble, Black Opal, Christian Dior, Phyto and Coty. Corbett's professional memberships included the American Society of Magazine Editors and the National Association of Black Journalists.;
