He attended Miami Shores Elementary School, North Miami Junior High School, and graduated from Miami Central Senior High School in 1984. He received his B.B.A. degree in business management and organization from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida in 1988. In 1986, Yaeger founded the Yaeger Innovative Properties Corporation, his first company - the year after he filed his first patent for the Yaeger Prosthetic Arm. He worked for Miami Dade Public Schools in 1991 as a pupil advocate, and founded his non-profit, the Yaeger Foundation, in 1995. In 2000, Yaeger combined all his companies under one name, the Yaeger Companies, and he was the CEO. He created a revolutionary prosthetic arm for a girl with no arms in 2001. Yaeger was often recognized and awarded for his innovative inventions and his service to his community.;
