A dialogue between a souldier of Barvvick, and an English chaplain : vvherein are largely handled and laid open such reasons as are brought in for maintenance of popish traditions in our English church: here is likevvise collected, as in a short table 120. particular corruptions yet remaining in our said church, with sundry other matters, necessary to be knowne of all persons: And also another table of the bringing in of divers of the popish and superstitious toyes, yet remaining, as before said: the authors names the yeares of the Lord, the popes names, and the stuffe it selfe, as appeareth, with the holinesse attributed to it. Therefore the Lord of his mercy, send discipline with doctrine into his church; for doctrine without discipline and restraint of vices, maketh dissolute hearing.
