Summary As a result of the intensive search for oil and gas in western Canada, a regional meeting was held in 1955. This volume was the result of that meeting, and contains 23 papers divided between a discussion of the Jurassic and a discussion of the Carboniferous. Stratigraphy, subsurface, boundaries, formations, sedimentation and geology of western Canada and adjacent areas are thoroughly covered.
