| Abstract | University of Oregon archaeologist Luther Cressman pursued a trail of evidence that enabled him to describe the earliest people who lived in the Northern Great Basin of southeastern Oregon. Cressman discoveries include woven basketry fragments, sagebrush sandals and ancient weapons from people who had lived in the region during the last Ice Age, some 13,000 years ago. |
