Abstract A thirteen year-old boy became paralyzed when a metal chopstick accidentally struck into his spinal cord, he miraculously walked again after four years. The nervous system is the most complex structure of the body. Millions of people all over the world are suffering from spinal injuries and diseases, this programme looks into the real-life stories of patients who are recovering after treatments by Dr. Henrich Cheng, a Taiwanese surgeon, who started research in spinal cord regeneration ten years ago and managed to revive the spinal cords of his paralyzed patients.
