Abstract This video discusses the importance of incorporating stimuli that children prefer to increase motivation in learning. Four methods are discussed: single stimulus preference assessment, paired stimulus preference assessment, multiple stimulus preference assessment and free operant preference assessment. This video is informative for parents, teachers, and other professionals and paraprofessionals involved in teaching children with autism spectrum disorders.
