Abstract The Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH) is an independent Federal agency under the oversight of the Department of Defense Chief Management Officer, which provides residences and services qualified retired and former members of the United States Armed Forces. Their website includes information about the services provdied to residents of the retirement homes, administrative information about the management of the agency and the homes, and social media. The archive also includes a separate site with information about planned development of a portion of the Washington, D.C. campus, and an interactive database that contains maps of the grounds and historical information.
