Abstract After the Battle at Cowpens, the boys are mistaken for redcoat recruits, but are saved by the Swamp Fox. They prevent a house-burning on the way to Hillsboro where they save a rebel spy from hanging. This brings them face to face with General Cornwallis whom they take at gun point until they escape.
