| Summary | Description: Letter to George Back, and George McVicar. McVicar was the Chief Trader working for the Hudson Bay Company and based at Fort Resolution. The letters are contain details of travel arrangements as well as planning for an expedition. They are friendly and ask after McVicar's wife and child. The Letter to George Beck discusses the capabilities of a fisherman. Final letter is from John Ross and discusses the necessity of sending an expedition to look for Franklin and crew if they do not return by January 1848. Nunavut and Northwest Territories 1818-1840. |
