| Summary | First broadcast in 1970, 'Emma's Time' was the third in a trilogy of television plays by David Mercer concerning Marxist novelist Robert Kelvin, following 'On the Eve of Publication' and 'The Cellar and the Almond Tree'. After his death his mistress Emma, who lived with him for the last two years of his life and is involved with a television film about him, tries to adjust, and their relationship is shown in flashback. |
