Abstract |
This volume contains music terms found in the Bible, accompanied by the singular verse that includes each term, while another section of the book lists song texts found in the Bible. The text also includes commentary, 20 original artworks, and two essays. This book can aid ministers of music in planning worship services around biblically-centered musical themes. Many of the Old Testament passages referring to various musical instruments can be read as spoken introductions in services when those instruments are used prominently for choral or congregational accompaniment or as solo instruments. |
