Abstract |
Established in 1985 by Public Law 99-83, the U.S. Commission for the Preservation of America's Heritage Abroad is an independent agency of the U.S. Government. Per the law, the Commission is to identify and report on cemeteries, monuments, and historic buildings in Eastern and Central Europe that are associated with the heritage of U.S. citizens. The site offers an extensive country list that offers maps and links to agreements, reports and projects pertaining to that country. There are also general sections on reports, projects and bilateral agreements. |
