| Summary | Blue Guardian is an original TV series with two episodes presented here, entitled "Blue Tornado" and "Blue Mountains." It is in the mystery genre without particularly dealing with murder investigations. Rather, each individual episode has a self-contained storyline and deals with a missing person case, while the story arc deals with the self-discovery and development of the main character. The lead character, Kay Deck, helps people in the modern day Los Angeles valley by working as a freelance private investigator. Living in L.A. for ten years, Kay has contacts all over the city that help her with her investigations. Many of her cases come from Detective Jack Krenner, who handles all the missing person reports for Los Angeles and the surrounding area. Jack's son, Max, has just recently moved in with his father and becomes interested in Kay's work. The first episode, "Blue Tornado" is set in modern day Los Angeles where Kay is on the trail of a missing scientist who is being forced to come up with a chemical that changes the composition of oil. Kay also meets Max, Jack's son, for the first time who helps Kay's investigation. In the second episode, "Blue Mountains," Max becomes interested in a disappearance of a fellow student at school and drags Kay into investigating. |
