Abstract | Considers H.R. 14701, to amend Foreign Service retirement system to increase pension to 80% of highest 5 years of salary, to increase number of credible service years to 40 years, and to provide cost of living increases in emergency cases. Also amends Congressional retirement system to reduce number of years needed for computing base average salary and to increase percentage of average salary paid in annuity. |
