Abstract This book lists 124 musicians from jazz to classical, their lives, careers, bands they performed with in the United States and all over the world, their recording credits, clubs and dates where they performed, and pictures of their earlier times. Most of the material, including the interviews and photographs, is new and direct from the entertainers themselves. They were all born in the cities of St. Louis and Metro East (East St. Louis, Illinois).
