Generally all of these innovative financing approaches involve a building owner sharing the dollars saved from a building retrofit with the firm that supplied the product or provided the design service. The report includes a profile of firms offering innovative financing approaches for commercial building retrofits (based on a statistical analysis of 64 firms); a net benefit and cash flow analysis of five innovative delivery approaches; a discussion of products and services offered, and descriptions of six firms we visited including their similarities and differences. The final section contains conclusions drawn from the research and recommendations for further research. The questionnaire developed for this research and a list of firms responding to the questionnaire are found in the appendices.;
