General note | "The map will include that portion of North America, which lies between the Isthmus of Darien, and the 48th degree of north latitude, and from the Mississippi River westwardly to the Pacific Ocean. In size the map will be about six by five feet, and will be projected on a scale of 40 miles to the inch, to be delivered to the subscribers at fifteen dollars each." |
