| General note | The calculations and notes on the calendar pages, together with the preceding eclipse predictions, duplicate those in Bailey's Rittenhouse almanac for 1819 (Philadelphia: Lydia Bailey), calculated by Joshua Sharp. In all the other 1819 Philadelphia almanacs bearing Sharp's name, the astronomical portions are offprints from Bailey's. Sharp is named as calculator on all subsequent issues of Poor Robin as well as most earlier ones from 1798. |
