General noteCalculated by Joshua Sharp. All of the astronomical calculations and notes on the calendar pages, with the weather and eclipse predictions, duplicate those in the four Philadelphia almanacs for this year which name Sharp as their calculator. (The astronomical portions of these four are in fact all printed from one setting of type.)
General noteExcepting the title page, signatures [A]-B at front (including the calendar pages) and C at end are identical in contents and typography with those of The New Jersey almanac for 1817, printed at Philadelphia by Joseph Rakestraw for David Dickinson.
General noteTitle vignette. The Anatomy is the only other illustration.
General noteTwo states of the title page noted. The first has no legend accompanying title vignette. The second has the legend: "A view of the Permanent Bridge, over the river Schuylkill, Market Street, Philadelphia."
