The foregoing report of the committee chosen March 4, 1817, to report a plan for the regulating of the schools in this town, was laid before the town at a legal meeting, held on the 5th of May, 1817, and voted to accept said report; and that the Rev. Samuel Willard procure the printing of the number of copies [400] mentioned in said report. Attest, Justin Hitchcock, town clerk.
