General noteOne of two editions printed by Samuel Wood in 1813; and presumably the later. In this edition there are printers' ornaments separating the segments of the title page, p. [3] is formatted in lines, the caption (The burning of John Rogers) on p. 13 is printed in mixed upper and lower case, and the publisher's statement, which appears regularly in later editions, is included. The two editions are not distinguished by Shaw & Shoemaker, entry 27852.
