General note | "If a partner could be obtained ... it would be preferred: but none need apply as a partner, unless he can furnish two thousand or three thousand dollars--or I will sell the whole on a reasonable credit." As later imprints were issued by Bartgis from the Pleasant Dale printing office, he apparently found a partner or other sources of income to settle his "outstanding debts." |
