| General note | As indicated by the numbering, the wording of the title, and the author's place of residence in the imprint and preface, this is the fourth almanac by Thomas Vinson of Weymouth, Mass. (At this time, Weymouth had no inhabitant named Vincent.) Vinson's name is misspelled by the new printer, E.G. House, who is located at the address (no. 5 Court Street), and is using the types and title-page cut formerly used by David Carlisle, who printed Vinson's previous almanacs. (Carlisle moved to New York in late 1808 or early 1809.) |
