His preface to his Tables requisite tobe used with the nautical ephemeris (New Brunswick, 1806) is dated October 11, 1806, and states that "The Nautical almanac and astronomical ephemeris [have] been printed in America from the years 1803 to 1809 [i.e., 1806?] inclusive."
