General noteThe minutes and circular letter are also signed by Henry Holcombe, president of the General Committee of Georgia Baptists, established in May 1801. The constitution adopted and included in the minutes proposes formation of Mount Enon College and designates the Committee's new name, "General Committee of Georgia Baptists, and Trustees of Mount Enon College."
