General note | Twelve numbered rules of the Association of the Boston Booksellers, which was formed Oct. 30, 1801, and became the Association of Boston Booksellers in Dec. 1802. On Jan. 27, 1803, it was voted to expand the membership and the name became Boston Association of Booksellers until its dissolution in 1820. |
