In fact, the calculations, eclipse predictions, and most of the astronomical notes on the calendar pages are different from those in the other New York state almanacs calculated by Beers for 1796, e.g. Greenleaf's and Hutchins improved.;

Since duplication of such material is seldom found in early almanacs by different calculators, they probably were inserted by Beers, who perhaps revised or completed the whole.
