A funeral elegy by way of a dialogue; between Death, Soul, Body and Jesus Christ / Composed by Edmund Weld, formerly of Harvard College, who moving hence into Ireland, became a preacher of the gospel at Inniskean, there; who upon the mediation and apprehension of his own death (which was soon after, the second of March 1785 [i.e., 1668]) made this following poem, which was sent hither in a letter from his widow, there living, for the benefit of the people of Massachusetts, in America.
